Brothers from Pewee Valley Lodge No. 829 helped out local girl scout troop 458 by making a few donations to them to help with their latest projects of adding a flower garden and benches to one of Oldham County's local parks. The brothers are always willing to support all of our local groups that work to preserve and improve our community!
Its been a great year for the Lodge, and with the installation of new officers for the coming 2018 year, it promises to be another great year! Congratulations to all the Brothers who worked so hard during the previous year and to all the newly elected Brothers. If you haven't been to Lodge in a while, pay us a visit and see what's going on. As always, we meet the first and third Tuesday of every month, with dinner at 6:30 pm and the Lodge opening at 7:30 pm.

Freemasons donate more to charity than any other organization in the world. One of the many things Kentucky Masons contribute to, is to that of the Masonic Homes of Kentucky. The Masonic Homes started as a place to provide essential needs to Masons, their widows and orphans. However, today the Masonic Homes of Kentucky offers daily living accommodations and specialized services people of all ages, regardless of affiliation. Pewee Valley Lodge has consistently throughout the years supported the Masonic Homes and continues to take pride and assisting with this great cause. This year, the 2017 Master of Pewee Valley Lodge, Tom Ruby, was presented with the award above in recognition of the Lodge's ongoing support of the Masonic Homes.
2017 Master Tom Ruby presents Past Master Brother Kevin Rearden with a Mason of the Month Award.
Pewee Valley Lodge has continued its program of Mason of the Month awards. The goal is to recognize Masons in the Lodge who have gone above and beyond the normal call of duty to assist the Lodge in various matters. Brother Kevin has lectured many, many Master Masons, educated as many more, performed countless funeral services and is always available to members of the Lodge for mentoring and ideas for improvement. Congratulations and a hearty thanks to Bro. Kevin!
